Then she was offered three movies by Yash Raj Films. In the film, she performed the role of a young girl who was married to a middle age man (the part Shah Rukh Khan is playing). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka Sharma was the lead in the film 'Badmash Company The film came out in the year 2010. The film also featured Shahid Kapoor and Vir Das. The movie got mixed reviews. That same year Anushka Sharma was seen in the film 'Band Baaja Baaraat' with Ranveer Singh where she played an upper-middle class Punjabi girl who starts her own wedding-planning business. The movie got positive reviews. Anushka's three-film deal with Yash Raj Films ended with the release of Band Baaja Baaraat.
